Allergies have gained acceptance
as a separate field of medical study in recent
years; however, allergies have not been given
adequate recognition for their role in producing
many types of disorders and illness. Any substance
has the potential to cause an allergic reaction.
In my experience, individuals can have adverse
reactions to various items, including foods, fabrics,
plants, chemicals, vitamins, water, heat, vaccines,
plastics, and metals. In addition, specific items
that individuals contact often can cause allergy
reactions, such as wedding rings, piano keys,
furniture, and newspaper print, and can also include
elements of the patient's physiology, such as
saliva, hormones and skin. The accumulative effect
of allergic reactions is the primary cause of
a patient's poor health. Allergies can cause adverse
symptoms on multiple levels of human functioning,
including physical, nutritional, and emotional
well-being. As a result, undiagnosed allergies
can produce illnesses and chronic diseases that
affect every body organ and system. Conditions
that have responded well to allergy elimination
include Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, migraine headaches,
hyperactivity, arthritis, asthma, anxiety, depression,
backaches, and addictions.
Permanent allergy elimination
promises to revolutionize the practice of medicine.
The diagnosis of 'hidden' allergies, itself, is
not revolutionary. However, the process of allergy
desensitization is unique since it allows patients
to live symbiotically with food and environmental
allergens. Permanent allergy elimination technique
retrains the central nervous system to be in contact
with the known allergen without causing adverse
reactions. Through the process of NAET, we can
train our central nervous system to perceive all
energies as beneficial to facilitate both energy
flow and balance.
A 22-year-old female was
referred to me presenting back pain, fever, chills,
and severe headaches. A urine test suggested a
possible kidney infection. She was currently taking
antibiotics and Aspirin, which helped to decrease
her pain and improve other symptoms. However,
when the patient would drink fenugreek tea, her
symptoms of fever, chills and muscular stiffness
would return. After recognizing her allergy to
fenugreek tea, I used the Allergy Elimination
Technique. Within 30 minutes, her temperature
had normalized and her pains were significantly
reduced.
How is it possible that a
brief treatment can permanently resolve symptoms
that were once only controlled by avoidance?
In respect to allergic reactions,
the central nervous system interprets a particular
substance as potentially harmful to your body.
It may be something, such as a diamond ring or
a peanut, that is harmless to others, yet is toxic
for you. With the first bite, touch, or smell
of an allergenic item, the brain blocks the individual's
energy channels to prevent the item's adverse
energy from entering the body. The blockage of
these channels can cause symptoms in associated
body systems that create conditions of illness
and poor health.
Testing for an allergen,
using the NAET process, involves exposing the
patient to a suspected allergen and exerting pressure
on the opposite arm to test for muscle strength.
This technique is known as Muscle Response Testing
(MRT). Allergenic substances weaken body muscles,
and thus, if your arm submits under pressure,
you are allergic to the contacted substance. In
cases where the allergen has not been identified,
a computer system can be used that mimics muscle
testing through means of Electro-Acupuncture and
biofeedback. This device registers minute changes
in the electrical resistance of the individual's
skin as he/she holds potential allergenic items.
Once the allergen is known,
acupuncture can be used to treat the energy meridian
that is blocked and is causing allergenic symptoms.
This produces a completely new, permanent, and
non-reactive response to the allergen. As such,
NAET reconditions the body's usual response and
enables the individual to coexist with the formerly
offending substance.
During my seven years
of clinical experience with NAET, in addition
to Dr. Nambudripad's twelve years of clinical
experience, it has been observed that NAET can
permanently relieve allergy symptoms in approximately
80 to 90 percent of patients treated. Through
using NAET, practitioners have gained a new understanding
of the role allergies play in producing illness.
